Stage Makeup with Roxy Rendezvous

Roxy Rendezvous is an Emcee, Performer, and Producer in the DFW Drag/Burlesque Scene. While capturing hearts on the mic during the evening, she is usually found behind the paintbrush for her clients as a working MUA during the day. Before taking the stage she built a career in cosmetics with a BFA in Technical Theater at her side. Working with theaters in the area ,like Undermain, she put her skills to the test and further refined them while working for retailers such as Neiman Marcus and MAC. Specializing in Bridal Makeup she is no stranger to perfecting for both camera and stage. With 15+ years of experience in Makeup she is excited to partner with Art of Burlesque - Dallas, to bring you a in-depth course focusing on gender expression through makeup for the stage. With no skill-set required this class will help you to create bold structure for the stage and add those finishing touches for camera. 

Step into the tension of a tease in Slow Burn Burlesque with award-winning performer Vixie St. Claire. A vibrant part of the Dallas burlesque scene since 2019, Vixie brings over 20 years of classical dance training and a Bachelor’s degree in performance dance, with experience dazzling audiences from Las Vegas to New Orleans. Known for her musicality, improv, and thoughtful act development, she’ll guide you through the art of the tease—where breath, stillness, and subtle gesture become your most powerful tools. This masterclass begins with a sensual warm-up to awaken your body, then moves into technique and a slow burn combination designed to stretch the moment, deepen your presence, and command attention with every lingering movement.

Born and raised in Denton, Texas, Della discovered her love of dance early, training classically at Denton Dance Conservatory and The Ballet Conservatory before continuing her studies at Texas Woman’s University with a focus in Dance. With over a decade of performing and teaching experience, she brings both technical precision and heartfelt artistry to her work. In this empowering workshop, you’ll explore sensual, flowing floorwork tailored to your unique body, building strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence while learning foundational transitions, musicality, and controlled, captivating choreography. This Body Confidence workshop is designed to help you feel strong, empowered, and fully at home in your body. Blending elements of fitness, movement technique, and expressive dance, each session builds both physical strength and self-assurance. You’ll move through across-the-floor exercises that develop coordination, fluidity, and presence, while also learning body positioning and posing techniques that highlight your unique lines and style.

Choreography is a key part of the class, giving you the chance to bring everything together, movement, attitude, and confidence, into a powerful performance experience. Whether you’re new to dance or experienced, the focus is on growth, self-expression, and owning your space without judgment.

Heels are completely optional, wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident. This is a supportive, uplifting environment where you’re encouraged to explore your movement, embrace your individuality, and leave feeling stronger inside and out!  Either way, just keep dancing!
